American Red Cross of Livingston County

The Red Cross needs your support today and tomorrow.

Your support is critical to help families in need. Each year, the Red Cross:

Touches the lives of 1 in 3 people in Livingston County
Provides 97% of blood and blood products needed by Livingston County hospitals
Delivers emergency services to hundreds of victims of local disasters
Trains 25,000 local residents in lifesaving skills
Delivers hundreds of emergency messages for local families with loved ones in the armed forces.

The Livingston County Red Cross is not a government agency. We are not funded by the national Red Cross and only a small portion of our funding comes from the United Way. In fact, we help support national disaster relief. We need your support. Annual support from individuals and corporations is our largest source of funding.

Donate by Phone

Make a credit card contribution by phone by calling (517) 546-0326. We are open from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm - Monday through Friday.

Walk-In

Make a donation by stopping by the Chapter located right by Howell High School, at 1372 W. Grand River Avenue, Howell, 48843. The chapter office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday. (Click here for a map/directions)

Make a bequest in your will or a gift from your trust.

The following language may be used: I give, devise and bequeath to the American Red Cross for the benefit of the Livingston County American Red Cross, Michigan, Chapter, the sum of $_______, or otherwise describe the gift or specify a percentage of the estate. If you include the Red Cross in your will or living trust, please inform us of your plans. It will give us an opportunity to send our gratitude.

Purchase an American Red Cross Charitable Gift Annuity
In exchange for your gift of money or securities to the American Red Cross, you will receive a guaranteed income for life -- and your survivor's life, if you so choose. Earn an annual return rate of up to 11.5%, based on your age at the time of your gift. You can expect that part of your annuity income will be tax-free, and you will realize a charitable tax deduction for purchasing the annuity. You must be at least 65 years of age to begin receiving the annuity payment.
